Environmental policy

Based on our Corporate Philosophy of "Energetic and fun for ourselves and for society", we conserve resources and energy, protect the global environment,
and create a sustainable and prosperous society in harmony with the global environment. Our basic policy of environmental management system is
to make small daily efforts to improve our business activities while simultaneously improving many environmental problems.

At the Kokura Plant No. 1 facing the Sone tideland and the Mt. Nuki range in Kitakyushu City and the Seto Inland Sea, and the Nanko and
Hirabayashi Plants adjacent to Osaka Bay, we manufacture and engineer molds for steel continuous casting, roll surface treatment, various plating and
electroforming processes, molds for plastic products and automotive parts, and mold plastic products. We recognize the importance of maintaining and
improving the global environment and aim to maintain and improve the level of harmony between our business activities and the environment
with the participation of all our employees.

  1. We will establish and apply an environmental management system that enables all employees to work together in all business activities,
    from product design to manufacturing and delivery.
  2. We will conduct regular internal audits and management reviews to continuously improve the system. We will also strive to maintain and
    improve understanding of our environmental policy and systems through education and publicity relations activities.
  3. We will comply with laws, regulations and other requirements in the execution of our business activities.
  4. We will assess the impact of our business activities on the environment, set environmental targets, and aim for continuous improvement.
    1. We will actively promote resource conservation, energy efficiency, waste reduction, and recycling.
    2. We will prevent environmental pollution by reducing emissions of environmentally hazardous substances in the manufacturing process.
    3. We will contribute to maintaining and improving the level of harmony with the environment among users by improving the quality, functionality,
      and service of the products we provide.
    4. We will promote beautification campaigns through the promotion of 3S (organizing, tidying, and cleaning) within our offices.
  5. We publish our environmental policy on the website of Mishima Kosan.
